Arriving in Karuizawa around noon? First, fill up with some food.
You can head to your favorite restaurant or, for a lunch break,
check out Harunire Terrace to pick up some wine, bread, and souvenirs to enjoy in your room.

After lunch, it's time to head out for shopping for the evening BBQ.
Pick up your favorite meats from Sato Meat Shop,
a local favorite since 1937, known for serving Karuizawa’s villa residents and hotels/restaurants.
Karuizawa also has many sweet shops, so be sure to grab some treats to-go!
Don’t miss TSURUYA, a must-visit local supermarket.
It has everything from food ingredients to original products, local wines, and craft beers.
You can even buy breakfast for the next morning here.
It’s a supermarket that’s fun just to be in!

To wrap up your shopping, head to Karuizawa Hocchi Ichiba,
a local produce market just near the Hours KARUIZAWA.
If you're planning a bonfire, pick up some firewood here, and don't forget to grab fresh, morning-picked vegetables.
Then, head back to the Hours KARUIZAWA!

15:00 / Check in

Once you've checked in and settled in, it's time to start preparing for the BBQ.
The BBQ grill is gas-powered, making it easy to light.
Nearby is Happu Onsen (with a sauna and outdoor bath), so before your meal,
you can relax and rejuvenate your body and mind in the hot springs, then head back for the barbecue!
